Holiday Time

Have been baking different cookies....

Busy making a baby blanket for my little niece, she will be born in June, so I'm still on time...

I also bought this wooden box and of course, I needed put a crochet on it:

My New Blanket

My new crochet blanket : I used these calm beige colours which became my favorite in the last time. It's such rustic blanket and most importantly, also soft and warm. So cozy to sit under it while watching tv or reading a book.

Here before blocking (after blocking it got larger: 125x95cm).
Our cat fell instantly in love with it. He found it such a nice structure,

that he fell in trance:) Fat, happy cat:)

Funny thing, the cat and the blanket have the same colours...

Pictures of the Bedroom

The blue bedspread was my hugest crochet project ever.
With the yellow sheets together they are making a happy bed (yes, it does exist a happy bed!)

I found this retro Ikea lamp in a second hand shop. The cheapest lamp ever and in my opinion also quite pretty.

My purplish blanket

I made this crocheted granny square blanket during the long winter weeks. It was worth all the hard work, I love these colors together! It became also my tv blanket, even now using it, as the Dutch spring is anything but warm.
