Quickly ready and still a pleasure for the creativity:)
1.White matroushkas bought by the Action. I drew on them with a black pen:
2. A blue Sharpie on white ceramic cup, 'cause why couldn't we make our own Delft Blue?
3. And just to have more smiling faces around me:

Birthday and New Project
Nice flowers and yummie breakfast for my birthday.
I love the ranunculus (and also the home made croissants)!
And the metamorphosis of the new yarn:
A few more days needed to get it ready...

Cushion Collection
This leaf crochet (Japanese maple pattern) was a great challenge. I was so proud that it turned out well!
I put it on a cushion:
And if talking about cushions, that's what they look like all together: all my crochet cushions:

At the Moment
I came home from the library with two German crime novels and three crochet books:
The crochet book of Erica Knight is so inspiring, lots of beautiful pictures with very nice, quiet colours.
And the snowflakes crochet was something that I wanted to try since a long time, I 'm happy to have found such a good tutorial! (Btw. this novel of Wolf Haas is also brilliant, he is the funniest crime novelist ever!)
And I bought also a XXL Tweed yarn, it's actually bigger than my head:)
So, I have enough to do! The holiday should last much more longer!
But: "Keep calm and crochet along!"

And Again...
If somebody would wonder whether it is an obsession by me with the shawls: yes, it is!
It's the seventh one made in a period of approximately one year (although gave away two of them!)
But yeah, I feel necessary to have one in every possible colour combination... and I couldn't explain why.

Little Houses DIY
Easy diy found on the lovely Yvestown Blog.
Print, cut, fold, put a candle in it and tadaa! (I'm using electric candles, otherwise I wouldn't be sure that the house won't be burning down.)
You can print the houses and the roofs from here:

The Table Runner; Ready, Steady, Go!
A crochet table runner of 110x45cm, it got ready this morning (oh, happy vacation time!).
I had some doubts whether I should make a blanket of it or not. At the moment I like having it on our table and later I will see..

Pictures of the Bedroom
The blue bedspread was my hugest crochet project ever.
With the yellow sheets together they are making a happy bed (yes, it does exist a happy bed!)
I found this retro Ikea lamp in a second hand shop. The cheapest lamp ever and in my opinion also quite pretty.

Small Beauties
In January, I spent a short weekend in Hungary in order to find the prefect wedding dress (mission accomplished!). I had very little time in Budapest, but I managed to find these two beauties (in a small pottery shop behind the Basilica). For cafe latte and tea just perfect!
I also crocheted two table mats for under them.
And this one is a leftover of the Xmas decoration. Put a little flower in its hands, so it can be considered as a spring elf:)

More hat than head
It's almost a pity that winter isn't really cold, as I have so many hats. Actually, I should have also more heads to be able to wear all of them :)
I made these two in December:

The Purple Bag
The purple bag took a long time, because I didn't really know how it should be. But since it got ready, I'm using it almost every day. I love the colours and everything fits in it.

More Flowers
Another way to decorate a wall: instead of a painting a living still life.
These are astrantia's, never seen this type of flowers before, so beautiful!

Almost Spring
These are my flowers now.
As our living room is huge, I try to put everywhere something nice to look at.
And they give us the feeling it's almost spring!

My quiet reading corner under the cranes
Back again, after a very long break...
I've been buzy making the house nice and friendly. I've never had so many place before, so it's a challenge, but interieur styling is so much fun!
More pictures coming and also of my crocheted thingies of the last weeks!
I like this lovely place and to create this small universe I only needed a television table with a rug and some crocheted pillows. And a branch with a few origami birds, of course!
